The Academy will look and feel different.

The Sponsors are currently developing a new educational vision and ethos that will build on the existing good practice at Greenhead High School and make learning and working at the new Academy more exciting and stimulating.

In March 2011 the Academy will move into the new school buildings and the students, staff and community members will be able to take advantage of the new facilities and resources that will be available.

Patricia McCarty has been successfully appointed as the Principal Designate to lead the New Academy.

A new logo and image will be developed and sponsors are keen to involve students, parents and community members to create a new identity that we can all be proud of.

All students who currently attend Greenhead High School will automatically transfer to the Academy and the existing Local Authority admissions policy will be adopted.
